We will estimate your first appointment deductible in advance. We will charge you for deductible, co-insurance and copay at the time of service so you will not receive a bill later and may submit your insurance claim.

Make parking and travel plans to allow yourself plenty of time.
Check in at the front desk 10-15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment as we will have some additional medical history for you to complete. We are unable to begin your consultation without completed paperwork.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy: Please make any cancellations within that time frame.
What To Expect When You Visit Longevity Acupuncture?
Your First Visit
Your first visit with Dr. Shou-Litman will last around 60 to 90 minutes. This initial visit includes an in-depth assessment of your health concerns and goals, gathering of information on all aspects of your health including medical history of your family, environmental exposures, past trauma/illnesses or surgery, diet, exercise habits, emotions, relaxation and more. A few key physical examination procedures are also a part of your first visit. In some rare cases, we provide the nutritional support recommendations on the first visit itself. But usually, Dr. Shou-Litman reviews all the information about you, between the first and the second visit, and then designs a comprehensive treatment plan considering your health goals and needs.
